Privacy

This covers the Vindola website and your Vindola account. It is short because very little is collected.

What is collected

If you request an invite, your email address and the date you asked. Nothing else is collected through the form.

What it is used for

To send you an invite to test Vindola. It isn't used for anything else, and it is never sold.

Who can see it

Only the founder of Vindola. It is stored with Supabase in Sweden. This website runs on Cloudflare.

How long it is kept

Until you ask for it to be removed, or until testing ends, whichever comes first.

Removing it

Email help@vindola.app and your address will be removed.

Your Vindola account

If you make an account, Supabase keeps your email address, your name if your sign-in provider shares it, and a scrambled copy of your password. Your notes aren't kept with your account. You can delete your account in the app's Settings at any time.

OneDrive and Google Drive

If you connect OneDrive or Google Drive, Vindola asks Microsoft or Google for permission to keep your notes there. On Google Drive it can only see the files it made itself. The permission stays on your device, and your notes go straight between your device and that service. In the web and desktop apps, signing in passes through a Vindola server on its way to Microsoft or Google, and nothing is kept there. What Vindola gets from these services is used only to sync your notes, and is never sold or used for advertising. You can remove access at any time in the app, or in your Microsoft or Google account.
